How to bet at BlueSquare.com

STEP 1 of 4

Before you can bet you have to make sure you:

have registered
are logged on
have deposited funds into your account

STEP 2 of 4

Choose a category in which to bet. At the moment we have three: Sports, Specials and Financial. Choose one by clicking on the correspondent tab (screenshot below is a graphic image only).

Let's say we choose the "Sports" tab. We are presented with the sports page. Locate the event you want to place a bet on. In this example we will choose the Nationwide Division 1 among the many sport options (screenshot of one of the options in the sports page shown below).

Clicking on the "Nationwide Division 1" link (shown above) will take us to another page with further options, namely the odds for Nationwide Division 1 (see below).

At the top of the page is the name of the market (in this case win or each way); this is part of a drop down menu where the other available markets for this event can be found. In this case we will stick with "win or each way". If we want to place a bet on, for example, Blackburn (top left on the graphic) we click on the "bet" word next to it. The following window appears... From this screen we can place our bet.

When you have entered your stake and set the options for your bet click on the "Place bet" button (shown in the graphic image above). A window pops up (shown as a graphic image below) asking for confirmation. Review your bet details and click the OK button to place your bet. NOTE: Once you clicked the OK button there is no turning back, so make sure you are certain about your bet and the chosen options.

Multiples

To place a multiple choose your first selection and then follow the same process you would to place a single (described above) but instead of clicking 'place bet' click on 'Add this selection to a multiple or forecast' This should produce a page like that below.

The selection is now safely stored in the system. To add more selections simply repeat the process. When you have added all your selections to the bet slip click on 'view bets' and you will be given a choice of bet types as shown below (this will vary according to the number of selections chosen, see our betting rules for more details).

Pick the multiple bets you wish to place and fill in your required stakes - note that the stake entered is per line and some multiples involve more than one line (the figure in brackets after the name of the bet type tells you how many lines). Next click on 'place bet'. As before a grey confirmation slip will pop up. Review your bet details and if you are happy with them click the OK button to place the bet.

Coupons

For certain events coupons, a much quicker and easier way of placing multiple bets, are available. An example is shown below.

To add selections to your betting slip first click on the white circle next to the price of all the selections you wish to choose (a black dot should appear in the circle) and then click on the 'submit' tab at the top or bottom of the screen.

This will generate a bet slip no different to the one that would have been generated had the selections been added one by one in the usual way. If required selections from events not covered by the particular coupon used can now be added to the bet slip.

When you have added all the selections you want click on 'view bets' and follow the usual procedure for placing multiples (see above).

Forecasts

The procedure for placing forecasts and tricasts is almost identical to that used for placing multiples (though forecasts are usually only available on horse and greyhound races). The difference is that selections for forecasts must be from the same event.

To place a forecast choose your first selection and then follow the same process you would to place a single (described above) but instead of clicking 'place bet' click on 'Add this selection to a multiple or forecast'.

The selection should now be safely stored in the system. To add the second leg of the forecast simply pick another selection from the same event and repeat the process. For a tricast or combination forecast add a third selection (see our betting rules for more details of what this means.)

When you have added all your selections to the bet slip you will be given a choice of bet types on the drop down menu. Pick the type of forecast or tricast you require and click on 'view bets'.
