How to run your Grand National Sweepstake 2009

Cut up all the names of the horses on the tear-sheet into individual slips of paper.

Decide how much to charge for each entry - between £2 and £5 is usually about right

Put all the names in a hat and invite people in your office to pay their entry fee - and take their pick (write down who chose each horse on the list sheet)

Keep going until you’ve sold all the horses - people can have two or three each

Pay out the winners - we suggest you split the prize pool as follows: Winner 60%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 10% and 4th 5%.
